A TALE OF PLEASING WOE

 A   Tale of   pleasing   Woe
How sweetly sad is thy feeling
That makes a tun still his soul to tenderness
And a weary being to feel a moment of delight
With a brimming bowl
To drown his soul
To dim his eyes
To banish the fear and misery
To sweep away his faculty

How though can it be said
Oh drunkard! You have no life
Oh son of sorrow, doom is thy in-law
And you daughter of despair
Be ready to meet disappointment
A brimming bowl will cure the misery you say
What a wishful thinking
What a truth yet so unreal
A tale of pleasing woe I call this
What an enchanting tale is it.
